PURPOSE: Council approval of a license agreement with the State of Washington Department of Children, Youth and Families acting through the Department of Enterprise Services to use 378 square feet of space at the Snohomish County Denney Juvenile Justice Center located at 2801 10^th Street, Everett, WA and authorize the Property Officer to sign the license agreement on behalf of Snohomish County. 

BACKGROUND: The State of Washington Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS), acting through the Department of General Administration, has licensed from Snohomish County approximately 378 square feet of office space at the County’s Juvenile Justice Center since January 1, 2012. The current license ends on December 31, 2021. The State, through it’s Department of Children, Youth and Families, acting through the Department of Enterprise Services, would like to continue to use the same space for a new term of four (4) years, beginning on January 1, 2022 and ending on December 31, 2025.
