PURPOSE: Appoint District 5 resident Sue Magruder to serve on the Regional Law and Justice Council
BACKGROUND: After consultation with District 5 Councilmember Sam Low, Executive Dave Somers recommends the appointment of Sue Magruder to the Regional Law and Justice Council. Per SCC 2.13.020, the representatives from each council district shall be selected in accordance with SCC 2.03, except that the executive shall consult with each councilmember regarding the applicants for the councilmember’s district prior to submitting a nomination to council. This would be Magruder’s first appointment.
