PURPOSE: To obtain Executive signature on Intergovernmental Contract 24-15620-007 with Washington State Department of Commerce.
BACKGROUND: Through a contract with Sazan Group, Facilities conducted a Level 2 Energy Audit at the Snohomish County Justice Center building in 2023. This project was completed in December of 2023. In 2024, the Washington State department of Commerce (COM) introduced the Public Building Audit Incentive program, which will includes retroactive payments for energy audits completed after June, 2023. Facilities applied for this program and the application was reviewed by COM and approved in September 2024. The attached agreement allows Snohomish County Facilities to receive $81,420.00 to be deposited into the energy efficiency fund.
