PURPOSE: The legislature enacted RCW 84.34 to maintain, preserve, conserve and protect lands for the social well being of the state and its citizens and has further declared, “that assessment practices must be so designed as to permit the continued availability of open space lands for these purposes.”
BACKGROUND: Owner requests reclassification from Open Space Ag to Open Space Ag Conservation for parcels 28061000102600 (6 acres) and 28061000102700 (6 acres). The properties are no longer generating income from agricultural use. The properties are located approximately .25 miles east of 156th and .013 mile south of 72nd.
