PURPOSE: Authorize the lodging-tax Hotel Motel Funding Agreement between Snohomish County and the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC) endorsed project, Port of Everett – 2025 Waterfront Place Winter Activities at an amount to not exceed $25,000.
BACKGROUND: On January 22, 2025, Snohomish County Council approved the 2025 Local Hotel Motel Fund Grants Expenditure Plan, which included funding forty-five projects at the levels recommended by the Snohomish County Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC). The attached contract (P-25-30) has a value of $25,000 and is within the Executive’s authority to execute without further Council involvement as a result of its approval per Motion 25-006. This agreement uses a boilerplate format that has been developed with, and reviewed by, both Prosecuting Attorney and Risk Management staff.
