PURPOSE: Council approval of an ordinance to grant vacation of public road right-of-way.
BACKGROUND: On January 31, 2023, Brian Nichols and Jayne Miller submitted a petition to the Snohomish County Department of Public Works proposing to vacate a portion of the county road right-of-way (ROW) 152nd St SE. 152nd St SE is a deeded unopened ROW in the NW ¼ of Section 1 Township 27 North Range 7 East W.M. The proposed vacation is a strip of land 16 feet wide and approximately +/- 8,384 square feet. The proposed ROW vacation is in Council District 5.
