PURPOSE: To adjust voting precinct boundaries due to district boundary changes, annexations and population shifts as required by state and local statute and in a manner that supports efficient election administration. The Total number of precincts resulting from these adjustments is 875.
BACKGROUND: Snohomish County Elections is required to examine and adjust precinct boundaries to account for boundary changes following the federal decennial census, annexations to cities/districts and population shifts on an annual basis. All precinct boundary changes must legally be completed at least seven days prior to the annual candidate filing period conducted in May. The deadline for making these changes by council action is April 27, 2026. For additional information, see the 2026 Precinct Changes Report.
