PURPOSE: To recommend the appointment of Suzanne Chivers to the North Sound Behavioral Health Administrative Services Organization Advisory Board
BACKGROUND: The North Sound Behavioral Health Administrative Services Organization (NSBHASO) Advisory Board currently has 3 (three) Snohomish County vacancies. The NSBHASO Advisory Board advocates for the interests of individuals with mental health issues and substance use disorder, and provides recommendations to the NSBHASO Board of Directors, consisting of elected officials from Island, San Juan, Skagit, Whatcom, and Snohomish Counties. The Advisory Board is comprised of twenty-six (26) members, nine (9) from Snohomish County.
Ms. Chivers is a certified recovery coach via the Recovery Cafe and has attended Catholic Community Services of Western Washington's Aspiring Social Services Employee Training (ASSET) program. Ms. Chivers's is an advocate for behavioral health in Snohomish County. Suzanne Chivers's term expires 10/07/2028. Suzanne Chivers does not serve on any other county board or commission.
