PURPOSE: To solicit feedback from the Planning Commission, in an advisory capacity, as to recommended adjustments to the regulations and development standards applicable to data centers within Snohomish County.
BACKGROUND: Snohomish County Code does not currently contain comprehensive regulations specifically addressing the siting, development or operation of data centers. Data centers may have impacts relating to land use compatibility, electrical demand, water usage, transportation, noise, environmental sustainability, and economic development.
