PURPOSE: The legislature enacted RCW 84.34 to maintain, preserve, conserve and protect lands for the social well being of the state and its citizens and has further declared, “that assessment practices must be so designed as to permit the continued availability of open space lands for these purposes.” 

 

BACKGROUND: Owners seek to reclassify from Open Space Farm & Agriculture to Open Space Ag-Conservation for 9.23 acres out of 10.23 acres, reserving 1.0 acre for homesite. The property is no longer generating income from commercial agricultural use. The property is located at 29824 412th DR NE, Arlington WA  98223.
