PURPOSE: Authorize the recruitment and hiring of two new law clerks within Superior Court.
BACKGROUND: In the 2022 adopted budget, two new law clerks were authorized. The new law clerks will support the two new Superior Court judges which the court expects to be appointed in June 2022 and will have expected start dates of July 1, 2022. Superior Court has sufficient budget surplus in 2022 to fund the early hiring of the law clerks.
