PURPOSE: To obtain Executive approval of RFP-22-020TB, Amendment 5
BACKGROUND: During the course of normal business, Facilities identified many critical fire system upgrades and deficiency repairs that are urgent. Amendment 5 addresses these critical upgrades and deficiency repairs. The amount needed exceeds Executive approval and now requires Council approval. Please see the tracking log for fiscal impact details. This request is requested for expedited processing due to the nature and urgency of the work needed. We have multiple jobs to schedule that are awaiting approval and payment once this request is approved. We are requesting the contract be passed by December 10, 2025, with an execution date of December 12, 2025.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS: This is an unanticipated cost that will be absorbed into Facilities existing biannual budget
