PURPOSE: To obtain the Executives Signature on a Cooperative Purchasing Agreement for PB-25-0477JM
BACKGROUND: On February 4, 2026, Council approved a Piggyback Award Recommendation for rental of Passenger Vehicles and Box Trucks Rentals through The Hertz Corporation. The Award Recommendation and resulting Motion 26-070 authorized the County Executive to execute an agreement with the Hertz Corporation to allow the utilization of an agreement established by the Office of Washington State Department of Enterprise Services (DES) in cooperation with NASPO. The estimated award amount will be $150,000.00 over five (5) years with an initial contract term through July 1, 2027 and an ultimate expiration date in 2029. This is a framework developed by Purchasing to allow various County departments to utilize this contract within existing appropriation authority.
