PURPOSE: Council approval and Executive signature on agreement between Snohomish County and North County Fire for the purchase of fire training modules.
BACKGROUND: May 2023 Office of Recovery & Resilience (ORR) posted a NOFA for inviting countywide Fire Districts to complete an American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Project Information Form and Grant Application to request up to $500,000 in capital funding to establish and/or enhance training facilities in the County. It was through this process that North County has been selected to receive this funding.
