PURPOSE: Transmit 2024 Apprentice Utilization Report

 

BACKGROUND: SCC Chapter 3.05, Construction Projects - Apprentice and Priority Hire Requirements, requires that a labor hour goal for the use of apprentices be established for all county construction projects estimated to cost one million dollars or more. The current established goal is for apprentices to perform at least 15% of the total labor hours on each qualifying project. In accordance with SCC Section 3.05.060, the Executive shall report to the Council annually upon the use of apprentices on County construction projects.  This ECAF is for the purpose of transmitting the 2024 Apprentice Utilization Report.
