PURPOSE: Piggyback Award Recommendation - Audio Visual Equipment & Consulting Services
BACKGROUND: The Snohomish County Facilities & IT Departments have need for Audio Visual Equipment & Consulting Services. This recommendation seeks approval to utilize a contract established by DES through RFP #00224 which awarded contracts across two categories to multiple suppliers, based on geographic area. Tempest Technologies, LLC. was determined to be the lowest, responsive bidder for the Western area. The estimated spend is $600,000 over the term with an ultimate ending date of 3/14/2032. A Contract Usage Agreement between Snohomish County and DES authorizing cooperative purchases was approved by the County Council under Motion 24-232 and is currently in effect.
