PURPOSE: Approve Professional Services Agreement with Barker and Leavitt, PLLC, to provide federal governmental affairs representation for Snohomish County.
BACKGROUND: Barker and Leavitt, PLLC, responded to Request for Proposal RFP 25-0614BC and was selected through established Federal, State, and County policies and practices. The current agreement for federal governmental relations services expired December 31, 2025. This contract is for a term from execution through December 31, 2027, and provides for two one-year extensions. The previous contract for these services was with Gordon, Thomas, Honeywell, LLC, and the annual contract cost was not to exceed $114,000.
