PURPOSE: Motion to provide for an adjustment in the rate of pay for the Law Clerk/Bailiff classification in Superior Court.   

 

BACKGROUND: This motion provides for an adjustment in the rate of pay for the Law Clerk/Bailiff classification in Superior Court.  In accordance with Snohomish County Code, the Human Resources Director is recommending this change in pay due to market conditions.  The rates of pay in Exhibit A reflect the work performed by the current Law Clerks.  There is sufficient funding in the 2025 adopted budget for these rates and the rates would be effective January 1, 2025.
