PURPOSE: With ongoing threats across the nation, the County and partners recognize the need for Stop the Bleed kits to be readily accessible by the public.
BACKGROUND: Through a memorandum of understanding with King County, Snohomish County obtained Stop the Bleed kits to be installed in public spaces throughout the Seattle Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI) Region. The goal is to increase access to life saving supplies during acts of violence.
