PURPOSE: To recommend the re appointment of Doug Wennerberg to the Developmental Disabilities Citizen Advisory Board.

The Developmental Disabilities Citizen Advisory Board is comprised of citizens who serve in an advisory capacity to the Developmental Disability staff of the Snohomish County Human Services Department. The Board meets monthly, and is comprised of up to 15 members, drawing from all areas of the county and a range of backgrounds, including family members, individuals with developmental disabilities, professionals, and advocates.
• Mr. Wennerberg resides in Council District 2 and is an active advocate and community member.
• Mr. Wennerberg has worked Everett police department about how to interact with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Mr. Wennerberg is member of People First, Snohomish County chapter. He advocates on issues regarding transportation and is interested in disability awareness throughout the community.
• Mr. Wennerberg is not a member of any other County board or commission.
• Mr. Wennerberg is recommended for a second three year term upon appointment
