PURPOSE: Transfer funds from Dept 16 to Dept 32 Office of Public Defense for Public Defender Association (PDA) contract COLAs and Market Rate Adjustments for 2024.
BACKGROUND: The Office of Public Defense entered into a contract with the Snohomish County Public Defender Association for 2024 indigent defense services. The Snohomish County Public Defender Association submitted an invoice for the 2024 COLA and market rate adjustments per Schedule C, Section A, sub-section (24) the 2024 contract Amendment 1.
