PURPOSE: This funding allows the Health Department to continue providing core public health services.
BACKGROUND: The Health Department receives the majority of its grant funding through a consolidated contract with the Washington State Department of Health. This funding is used for many different public health services including maternal and child health block grant, recreational shellfish activities, tuberculosis control, and many more. Amendment #16 increases funding by $3,519,641 for a total consideration of $35,178,552; and amends and adds statements of work for multiple programs.
