PURPOSE: To approve a budget transfer of $448,000 in Fund 130.
BACKGROUND: The Sheriff’s Office applied for and received grant funding from the Department of Justice for procurement of a Rapid DNA system. The acceptance of the grant award is awaiting council approval under ECAF 2024-3160. The Sheriff’s Office is requesting a budget transfer of $448,000 to cover expenditures in our 2025 budget.
