PURPOSE: Appointment of Ivan “Drew” Andrew (Council District #5, At Large) to his first full term, which expires December 31, 2025
BACKGROUND: The Fair Advisory Board was created to assist the Fair Manager and the county in the operation and production of the Evergreen State Fair. The Board is comprised of 11 members, one from each of the five Council districts and six at-large members. Ivan “Drew” Andrew is seeking a full term At Large appointment. Mr. Andrew has been an asset to the Fair Advisory Board when his wife, Vickie Andrew, was on the board, but has since passed away. His work experience, equestrian knowledge, and community involvement in a variety of activities, brings a wealth of experience and valuable perspective, to the important work of the board. County Executive Dave Somers recommends this appointment pursuant to SCC 2.03.030. Council confirmation is respectfully requested.
