PURPOSE: To confirm the reappointment of Jeffrey Wallace to his third term as a commissioner on the Housing Authority of Snohomish County Board.
BACKGROUND: The Board of Commissioners is a citizen governing body which provides guidance to the Housing Authority of Snohomish County. The program resident commissioner position on the Board is currently vacant.
• Mr. Jeffrey Wallace, residing in Council District 2, is a program resident in the Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (VASH) program and has indicated a desire to continue serving on the Board. Mr. Wallace volunteers on the Northwest Disc Golf Association and also has previous volunteer and non-profit experience. Mr. Wallace’s previously served on the Housing Authority of Snohomish County Board as program resident commissioner, his first appointment expired on March 14, 2020, his second appointment expired on March 14, 2025.
• Mr. Wallace has been recommended for reappointment by the current Board members.
• Once confirmed, this will be Mr. Wallace’s third appointment. His reappointment would fill the remainder of the vacant resident commissioner term ending March 14, 2030.
