PURPOSE: An ordinance authorizing an increase in the 2026 general property tax levy.
BACKGROUND: This ordinance authorizes an increase of 2.0 percent which includes the 1.0 percent statutory increase to the general levy amount for Snohomish County general property tax as authorized per RCW 84.55.0101, and 1.0 percent banked capacity, which was authorized last year.
