PURPOSE: Approval and execution of GCB 3615 Bridge Inspection Agreement between Snohomish County and Washington State Department of Transportation
BACKGROUND: National Bridge Inspection Standards require most bridges to be routinely inspected once every 24 months. Snohomish County has bridges that require special equipment and or expertise to inspect. The County and WSDOT have had an agreement for inspection Services since 2012. Snohomish County Public Works wishes to continue to utilize services provided by WSDOT for bridge inspection. GCB 3615 was negotiated by the County and WSDOT which includes a schedule of bridge inspection services to be performed over the next 10 years at an estimated cost of $380,461.04; however, WSDOT will bill based on Actual Cost at the time of service. WSDOT provided the attached Bridge Inspection Agreement GCB 3615 that has been approved by the Attorney General’s office.
