PURPOSE: To authorize approval of Professional Services Agreement SWMCC0-24 with Sandbox La Boite A Films Inc. for Media Services, Video Production.
BACKGROUND: The Community Floodplain Solutions (CFS) program works to keep local farms viable, reduce flood impacts for residents, and restore habitat for threatened salmon. There are several strategies the CFS program utilizes to accomplish these goals, one of them being education and outreach. Media productions are a great tool that can be used to educate many people about local issues and highlight programs that work to address these issues. Sandbox La Boite A Films Inc. was selected though a competitive request for proposal (RFP) process. This contract is entirely funded by grant funds from Ecology’s Floodplains by Design program.
