PURPOSE: Approve Interlocal Agreement to provide funding to the City of Mountlake Terrace for improvements at Bicentennial Park
BACKGROUND: Snohomish County Council approved Amended Ordinance 20-071 on November 10, 2020 to adopt the 2021 - 2026 Capital Improvement Program (CIP), which included funding for the City of Mountlake Terrace’s Bicentennial Park Improvements project. This project is planned to make playground improvements at this City owned facility. The City has provided a written request to receive the funds and has agreed to the terms of the Interlocal Agreement. Funding provided from the County to the City will be in the amount of $50,000 subject to the terms of the agreement.
