PURPOSE: Authorize execution of the interlocal agreement with the City of Edmonds for provision of emergency management services.
BACKGROUND: DEM has historically supported town, city, and tribal emergency management programs via an interlocal agreement outlining emergency management plans and programs pursuant to Chapter 38.52 RCW. This is a renewal of this agreement for two (2) years, with the option to extend the agreement for up to two (2) additional two (2) year terms.

DEPARTMENT FISCAL IMPACT NOTES: The rates ascribed to the City of Edmonds will be paid by their fire agency, South County Regional Fire Authority (per Motion 25-521) for each of the years 2025, 2026, and 2027.
