PURPOSE: Motion to appoint Corrine Lund to the Developmental Disabilities Citizen Advisory Board.
BACKGROUND: The Developmental Disabilities Citizen Advisory Board is comprised of citizens who serve in an advisory capacity to the Developmental Disability staff of the Snohomish County Human Services Department. The Board meets monthly, and is comprised of up to 15 members, drawing from all areas of the county and a range of backgrounds, including family members, individuals with developmental disabilities, professionals, and advocates.
• Corrine Lund resides in Council District 5
• Corrine Lunds holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Corrine Lund has 23 years working at a nurse
• Corrine Lund is the parent of an individual with a developmental disability
• Corrine Lund has experience navigating disability systems and services in three states
• Corrine Lund is not a member of any other County board or commission
• Corrine Lund is recommended for an initial three-year term upon her appointment
