PURPOSE: To recommend the reappointment of Kathie Davis for a second term to the Snohomish County Developmental Disabilities Citizen Advisory Board.
BACKGROUND: The Developmental Disabilities Board is comprised of citizens who serve in an advisory capacity to the Developmental Disability (DD) staff of the Snohomish County Human Services Department. The Board meets monthly and is comprised of up to 15 members, drawing from all areas of the county and a range of backgrounds, including family members, individuals with developmental disabilities, professionals and advocates. *Kathie Davis, resides in Council District 3. *Ms. Davis has over 21 years of experience working the field of Developmental Disabilities. *Kathie Davis currently works as the Autism Support Specialist for the Edmonds School District. *The Snohomish County Developmental Disabilities Citizen Advisory Board currently has 8 members and 7 vacancies. *Ms. Davis does not serve on any other County Board or Commission. *Term expires March of 2024
