PURPOSE: Bid Award Recommendation PW-25-0432SB - 84th ST NE Spot Improvement
BACKGROUND: A competitive bid was issued for 84th ST NE Spot Improvements spot safety improvements, including speed feedback signs, advanced warning sign assemblies, wireless interconnect systems, reflectorized sign posts, traffic signage, rumble strips, roadway striping, traffic signal modifications, work zone traffic control, and other work. All work is in accordance with the requirements set forth in the specifications, drawings and contract documents Four (4) bid submittals were received with the lowest responsible bidder being Earthworks Solutions for award amount of $899,262.65 plus applicable Washington State Sales Tax. The bid amount is 18.5% under the engineers estimate.
