PURPOSE: Fleet Card Services
BACKGROUND: The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office requires fleet gas card services for ongoing law enforcement activities, locally and out-of-state. DES, in cooperation with NASPO, issued RFP No. 00819 for Commercial Card Services and awarded Master Agreement No. 00819 and subsequently Participating Addendum No. 00819 to Wex Bank as the highest-ranked supplier. The Sheriff’s Office now seeks approval to utilize this contract in accordance with the existing Master Contract Usage Agreement (MCUA) between Snohomish County and the State of Washington authorizing cooperative purchases, approved by the County Council under Motion 24-232. Annual spend is estimated to be $45,000 annually for a two-year term.
