EXECUTIVE RECOMMENDATION: Approved
PURPOSE: Snohomish County District Court will provide a voluntary pre-trial services for a 6 month pilot project for individuals who have been charged with quality of life crimes and may have contributing unaddressed substance use dependency, mental health issues, and may be experiencing housing instability.
BACKGROUND: District Court submitted a grant application, and was awarded grant funds in the amount of $18,000.00 by the Washington State Administrative Office of the Courts to support a pilot for a short-term post-charging pre-trial services pilot program for the period from January 1, 2025 through June 30, 2025.
