PURPOSE: Contract Renewal for Law Enforcement Services

 

BACKGROUND: Snohomish County and the Town of Index have contracted for law enforcement services since 1987.  In addition to a flat rate to patrol the Town for a minimum of fifteen (15) minutes per day, the Town will also pay the County on a call for service basis for any 911 calls that the County responds to within the Town’s geographical boundaries.  The Town of Index wishes to renew the interlocal agreement for the next three years.
