PURPOSE: Bid Award Recommendation PW-24-0495SB Kayak Point Day Use Area, Phase 2
BACKGROUND: A competitive bid was issued for the Kayak Point Day Use Area, Phase 2 project. The contemplated work to be performed under this contract includes, but is not limited to, Base Bid: TESC, grading, demolition, landscaping, irrigation, paving, planting, utilities (water, storm, sewer, electrical) for all areas shown in the plans, drawings and specs south of the boat launch. Project included Aditives: Alternate 1 - Omitted Alternate 2 - Southern Restroom, Alternate 3 - Central Restroom, Alternate 4 - Playground Install (OPCI), Alternate 5 - Beach View Deck & Accessible Boardwalk, Alternate 6 - Plaza Deck. All work is in accordance with the requirements set forth in the specifications, drawings and contract documents. Eleven (11) bid submittals were received with the lowest responsible bidder being OMA Construction.
