PURPOSE: Approve reimbursement agreement with Olympic Pipeline Facilities for the Chinook Marsh Project
BACKGROUND: Olympic Pipeline has an easement through the Chinook Marsh property for their parallel petroleum pipelines that run from Ferndale and Anacortes to Portland. In order for the County staff to be able to meet with BP Olympic Pipeline (OPL) staff to discuss engineering solutions to protect the pipeline from tidal inundation, the County needs to sign an agreement with BP OPL to pay for their time.
