PURPOSE: Approval to accept and convey a parcel of property owned by Janet Elliott and for the Property Officer to sign the Purchase and Sale Agreement on behalf of the County for the donated property.
BACKGROUND: In September of 2023 Janet Elliott called Snohomish County with a proposal to donate an 18 acre island in the Snohomish River that her family has owned for decades. With the passing of her husband RJ Elliott she thought it would be nice to donate this property to Snohomish County in his memory. SWM showed an interest in the property after Parks past.
