PURPOSE: To obtain the Executives approval of Amendment 14 to Ecobrite Services
BACKGROUND: This request is to process Urgently. Facilities entered into an agreement with Ecobrite Services to provide Janitorial Services starting March 12, 2020. Since that time, thirteen amendments have been executed that have increased the annual expenditure and extended the life of the contract which now has a completion date of March 11, 2026. On September 19, 2025 Facilities advertised for a new competition for Janitorial Services under RFP-25-0493RB. That contract was awarded to another provider besides Ecobrite. Due to a delay in negotiations and setbacks, that new RFP has not been finalized or an agreement yet reached. Janitorial services continue to be required and we cannot have disruption of services. Ecobrite has agreed to continue performing Janitorial services on a month-to-month basis until the new provider's contract is in place. This Amendment 14 adds $191,622.93 per month for a maximum contract NTE of $11,758,115.73 to extend the contract for no longer than 6 months through September 11, 2026.
