EXECUTIVE RECOMMENDATION: Ken Klein 1/4/24
PURPOSE: Provide Transit Safety and Protection Services to Community Transit by providing a supplemental law enforcement presence to Community Transit’s existing security measures.
BACKGROUND: Community Transit currently contracts for law enforcement services with the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office. This is a renewal of that contract. Community Transit has contracted for law enforcement services since 2003. There are no staffing level changes with this ILA renewal. The new ILA will expire December 31, 2026.
