PURPOSE: To authorize the County Executive to sign the Interlocal Agreement with Public Utility District No.1 of Snohomish County for Miscellaneous Road Maintenance Services.
BACKGROUND: In 2014 the County and PUD entered into an interlocal agreement for the County to provide PUD with miscellaneous maintenance services. PUD and the County wish to continue this mutually beneficial agreement with the addition of the option for PUD to provide the County with miscellaneous maintenance services. The County has similar agreements in place with 17 Cities and/or towns. A new agreement with PUD has been negotiated for mutual Miscellaneous services. The agreement will be in effect from execution through December 2026.
