PURPOSE: Approve emergency use license agreement between Snohomish County, through its Health Department, and Everett School District #2. Emergency preparedness and response planning are core public health services that the Snohomish County Health Department performs. 

 

BACKGROUND: Snohomish County, through its Health Department, would like to build partnerships with public entities for use of their sites during emergency events to ensure these sites would be available on demand in the event of an emergency. During a disaster or emergency event, Snohomish County would utilize Everett School District #2 sites to provide emergency shelter and mass clinic services to individuals and families who are victims or otherwise affected by disaster or an emergency event.
