PURPOSE: Authorizing the County Executive to sign Amendment No. 1 to the Collective Bargaining Agreement between Snohomish County, Washington, and the Snohomish County Deputy Sheriff’s Association.
BACKGROUND: Amendment No. 1 to this agreement will add the positions of Scuba Boat Operator and Full-time Search and Rescue to the list of specialized duties that receive a 3% monthly premium of the top step of their respective classification. The addition of these specialized duties better align with the operations of the Sheriff’s Office and recognizes that these positions are truly specialized duties necessary for operations.
