PURPOSE: Approve affiliation agreement between Snohomish County, through its Health Department, and University of Washington School of Nursing to place nursing program student interns.
BACKGROUND: The Snohomish County Health Department recognizes that internships provide the student with practical experiences in health-related, safety, and emergency management settings under appropriate supervision and gives students the chance to explore public health as a potential career path.
