PURPOSE: Approval of Amendment No. 2
BACKGROUND: Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office Corrections Bureau operates a 24 hour/7 day per week medical department to serve the medical needs of the inmate population. The medical clinic may require contract nursing and healthcare personnel to work various shifts in the clinic to temporarily supplement County staff when existing employees are not available to provide coverage on an overtime basis. Health Pros Northwest offers competitive rates and an alternative option of bringing in as-needed temporary medical staff. The Professional Services Agreement to provide temporary staffing solutions was approved in February 2021. This Amendment No. 2 is to modify the Agreement’s fee structure and extend the agreement for one year.
