PURPOSE: County Council to approve and authorize the Executive to sign the 2024 HEAP-Wx for contract S24-32610-422

BACKGROUND: The Washington State Department of Commerce has authorized Snohomish County Office of Energy and Sustainability to administer the State Home Energy Assistance Program-Weatherization (HEAP-Wx) in accordance with County, State, and Federal laws and regulations. This contract, in the amount of $1,156,796 for the period of 7/1/2024 through 6/30/2025 was not included in the 2024 Grant Work Plan and requires Council approval.
