PURPOSE: Bid Award Recommendation for PW-26-0730SB - Whitehorse Trail Improvements MP 0.0-2.63
BACKGROUND: A competitive bid was issued for improvements to the Whitehorse Regional Trail from Arlington (MP 0.0) to Bridge 701 (MP 2.63). Contemplated work includes but is not limited to resurfacing, sediment and erosion control, clearing, grubbing, grading, installation of geotextile material, installation of base course and top course materials with compaction and seeding. All work to be completed in accordance with the contract and related documents. Six (6) bid submittals were received, the lowest responsible bidder being Earthworks Solutions, LLC for award amount of $713,475.16 inclusive of applicable Washington State Sales Tax.
