PURPOSE: Snohomish County, acting through its Health Department, needs access to the Washington State Department of Health (DOH) Refugee Health Program (RHP) and Refugee Medical Screening (RMS) databases.
BACKGROUND: The purpose of this data sharing agreement is to outline the conditions that require Snohomish County to submit required program data to DOH, and Snohomish County must share collected data with DOH in order to fulfill ORR reporting requirements and receive funding provided through the DOH Consolidated Contract. DOH will also use this data to direct work and funding for the Refugee and Immigrant Health Program, support program monitoring activities and perform data analysis that will inform future decision making regarding RHP and RMS services.
