PURPOSE: Donate Freightliner MT 55 to North County Fire/EMS
BACKGROUND: In 2006 Snohomish County Department of Emergency Management acquired a Freightliner MT 55 Step-Van (aka VIN 4UZAASBW86CW38014) for Emergency Management response to natural disasters and to lend to local fire departments and other emergency response agencies for command centers and other purposes during local events within those agency jurisdictions. Snohomish County Department of Emergency Management has determined that their use for this vehicle, since acquiring, has not been utilized as frequently as originally anticipated. Snohomish County Department of Emergency Management wishes to donate the vehicle to the government agency that utilized the vehicle most frequently - North County Fire/EMS - in order to pass on maintenance and upkeep expenses
